Something came down in a storm?
Call rather than using the form — a person can ask the two or three questions that tell us how serious it is. If a limb is hung up in the canopy, stay out from under it and do not try to pull it down from a ladder. If anything is touching a power line, call Xcel Energy first, not us.

People assume “free estimate” means someone glances at the tree and writes a number on a card. It does not mean that here.

What is wrong, what it will do if nothing changes, and what your real options are. Including “leave it alone and water it deeply,” when that is the honest answer.

Scope, method, cleanup and price, on paper. Take it to another company and compare it. No deposit, no contract, no pressure at the door.
Before you send it
Is the assessment actually free?
Yes. No trip charge, no consultation fee, no obligation. An arborist comes out, inspects the tree and leaves you with a written quote. If the answer is that the tree needs nothing, you are told that, and it still costs nothing.
Do I have to be home?
No, as long as the arborist can get to the tree. Plenty of people leave a gate unlocked and get the quote by email. Being there is worth it if you have questions, because you get the reasoning in person instead of a number on a page.
What do I write if I do not know what is wrong?
Describe what you can see, in plain words. “Big branch hanging over the roof.” “Leaves went yellow early.” “It looks dead on one side.” That is more than enough. Diagnosing it is our job, not yours.
Do you work Saturdays?
No. Ironwood runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We would rather say that up front than book a weekend we cannot staff properly. Assessments are scheduled around your availability inside those hours.
Will I end up on a marketing list?
No. Your details are used to schedule the assessment and nothing else. No lists, no resale, no robocalls, and no follow-up campaign you did not ask for.

The tree is not going to get better on its own
Most of what we end up removing was savable a couple of years earlier. Nobody looked while looking was still the answer. Finding out costs nothing and takes one phone call.
