Our Commitment to You

Ironwood Earthcare has served the Aurora and Denver Metro area since 2003. In that time, we've built our reputation on one thing: doing the job right. This warranty is our written commitment that the work we perform will meet or exceed industry standards, and that we will stand behind it.

This warranty applies to services performed by Ironwood Earthcare crew members at the address listed on your signed service agreement or work order. It is non-transferable and applies to the original customer of record at the serviced property.

What Our Warranty Covers

Ironwood Earthcare warrants that all services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner, consistent with industry standards and the scope of work described in your service agreement. Our warranty generally covers the following categories:

Workmanship & Labor

We guarantee the quality and execution of all work performed by our crew. This includes the proper technique, care, and thoroughness applied to every service we provide — from the first cut to the final cleanup. If a service was not performed as agreed upon in your work order, we will return to correct it at no additional charge, subject to the conditions outlined in this warranty.

Tree & Plant Care Services

Services including tree trimming, pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, and related arborist work are warranted for workmanship. Our ISA Certified Arborists follow ANSI A300 pruning standards and ISA Best Management Practices on every job. If the work does not meet those standards as agreed, we will address it.

Plant Health Care & Treatments

Fertilization, pest control, disease management, and plant health care treatments are warranted to be applied as specified in your service agreement, using the products, rates, and methods described. Treatment outcomes depend on numerous environmental and biological factors beyond our control; specific outcome guarantees, where offered, will be stated explicitly in your written service agreement. Contact our office for details on treatment-specific coverage.

Lawn Care Services

Lawn care services including fertilization, weed control, and lawn treatments are warranted for proper application according to the agreed service program. Results depend on existing lawn conditions, soil health, watering practices, and weather; outcome warranties, where applicable, are detailed in your service agreement.

Installed Plant Material

Where Ironwood Earthcare supplies and installs trees, shrubs, or other plant material, a separate plant material warranty may apply. Coverage terms, duration, and conditions for installed plant material vary and are specified in your written estimate or service agreement. Coverage at a Glance

The following is a general overview of what our warranty typically covers and excludes. This is not exhaustive — your specific service agreement governs. Contact our office for the terms that apply to your job.

  • Pre-existing conditions, disease, or structural defects
  • Damage caused by others after service
  • Normal aging, seasonal change, or natural dieback
  • Customer-caused damage or neglect after service
  • Failure to follow post-service care instructions
  • Work performed outside the original scope

Act of God & Natural Event Exclusions

⛈️ This warranty does not cover any damage, loss, failure, or deterioration caused directly or indirectly by an Act of God or natural event beyond our control.

An "Act of God" refers to any natural event or environmental condition that could not have been reasonably anticipated, prevented, or controlled by Ironwood Earthcare. These events fall outside the scope of our workmanship warranty regardless of when the service was performed. Examples include, but are not limited to:

Weather Events

  • Storms, including severe thunderstorms, hailstorms, ice storms, and blizzards
  • High winds, microbursts, downbursts, or tornadoes
  • Lightning strikes to trees, structures, or landscape features
  • Flooding, flash flooding, or excessive surface water accumulation
  • Heavy snow load or ice accumulation causing limb or tree failure
  • Extreme heat, drought, or prolonged dry conditions
  • Extreme cold, hard freezes, or late/early frost events outside normal seasonal patterns

Environmental & Natural Conditions

  • Soil subsidence, erosion, landslide, or earth movement
  • Wildfire, smoke damage, or ash contamination
  • Pest infestations or disease outbreaks originating after service completion
  • Invasive species spread from neighboring properties
  • Wildlife damage, including deer browsing, rodent girdling, or insect infestations not related to our treatment scope
  • Underground utility conflicts, root intrusion, or soil contamination not identified prior to service

What This Means for You

If your trees, lawn, or landscape sustains damage from an Act of God event after we've completed our work, that damage is not covered under our workmanship warranty. However, we're still here to help. Call our office and we'll assess the situation, provide an estimate for any necessary follow-up work, and work with you on a path forward.

What May Void This Warranty

This warranty may be voided in full or in part under the following circumstances. Ironwood Earthcare reserves the right to determine whether warranty coverage applies based on the specific facts of each situation. Contact our office with any questions before taking action that could affect your coverage.

  • Work performed by others. Any pruning, treatment, fertilization, or other service performed on the same trees, plants, or lawn by another party after Ironwood Earthcare's service may void warranty coverage for the affected material.
  • Failure to follow post-service care instructions. Where our crew or office provides watering, mulching, staking, or other aftercare instructions, failure to follow those instructions may affect coverage — particularly for installed plant material.
  • Non-payment. Warranty coverage requires that all invoices for the covered service are paid in full.
  • Unauthorized modifications. Alterations to the serviced area — including grading, construction, utility work, or chemical applications — by anyone other than Ironwood Earthcare without prior notice to us.
  • Misrepresentation of site conditions. If conditions relevant to the service (existing disease, structural compromise, underground utilities, HOA restrictions, etc.) were not disclosed prior to service and affect the outcome.
  • Acts of God or third-party damage. As described in Section 4.

⚠️ If you're unsure whether a planned action (additional treatment, construction project, landscaping change) could affect your warranty, call us first. We'd rather answer a quick question than lose your coverage.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe a service performed by Ironwood Earthcare does not meet the standards described in this warranty or in your service agreement, we want to know. Here's how to get it resolved quickly:

  1. Contact our office directly. Call (720) 251-2313 or email [email protected]. Please have your work order number or service date available.
  2. Describe the issue. Tell us what service was performed, what you're seeing, and when you first noticed the concern. If you have photos, send them — it helps us assess faster.
  3. We'll schedule a review. An Ironwood Earthcare representative will contact you to schedule an on-site assessment at no charge to you.
  4. We'll make it right. If the issue falls within our warranty, we will return to correct the work at no additional cost. Our goal is to resolve every warranty concern to your satisfaction.

Timing of Claims

Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable time of discovering the issue. Specific claim windows for different service types are detailed in your service agreement. In general, claims should be reported as soon as the concern is noticed — do not wait. Contact our office for the specific timeframe that applies to your service.

Limitations & Scope of This Warranty

⚠️ This warranty covers workmanship only. It does not guarantee specific outcomes, aesthetic results, or biological processes. Trees, plants, and lawns are living organisms subject to conditions beyond our control.

Workmanship — Not Outcomes

Ironwood Earthcare warrants that our work will be performed correctly and professionally. We do not warrant specific growth rates, aesthetic results, the prevention of disease, or the survival of plant material beyond what is explicitly stated in your written service agreement. Living systems respond to soil, water, sunlight, temperature, and dozens of other variables. We can control our work — we cannot control nature.

Limit of Liability

In no event shall Ironwood Earthcare's liability under this warranty exceed the original amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Specific liability terms are detailed in your signed service agreement. Contact our office for more information.

No Oral Warranties

No employee, contractor, or representative of Ironwood Earthcare has authority to make any warranty representations beyond what is stated in this written warranty or your signed service agreement. Any verbal representations regarding coverage must be confirmed in writing by our office to be binding.

Governing Terms

In the event of any conflict between this general warranty page and the terms of your signed service agreement, your signed service agreement governs. This page provides a general overview only. For the specific terms applicable to your service, contact our office.
